Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus
The Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus service at the Millennium Park Eye Center offers general pediatric eye care, including general exams for newborns and children up to 18 years of age, and specialty clinics serving rare and unusual children's eye disorders, including glaucoma, genetics, neurocutaneous, and neuro-ophthalmology. The service specializes in Strabismus and Ocular Mobility Disorders (when the eyes are not aligned properly in children and adults).

NATHALIE F. AZAR, MD
Dr. Nathalie Azar, Director of the Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus service and fellowship program at the University of Illinois Eye and Ear Infirmary, brings a high level of expertise and experience from Johns Hopkins Wilmer Eye Institute and Harvard's Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary to each of her patients. Dr. Azar's research interests include amblyopia and eye movement disorders. Her clinical interests are pediatric strabismus, adult strabismus including Graves Disease, paralytic and restrictive strabismus, and adjustable sutures in strabismus surgery.
